Defining yourself to become a better tennis player

This may seem at first to be a very easy question to answer however you soon find that most of us cannot seem to define who we are. First know yourself and your values before you can be successful at sport. What I mean by this is take time to really think about the answers you are going to provide below to help better not only your understanding of yourself but for us to be better coaches.
1. If one of your closest friends were to answer what type of personality do you have what would they say?
2. If one of your closest friends were to answer what type of work ethic do you have what would they say?
3. What is your strongest Trait (personality) and how does it relate to playing tennis?
4. What is your weakest Trait/attribute (personality) and how does it relate to playing tennis?
5. What is your Best Stroke in Tennis and Why?
6. What is your weakest Stroke in Tennis and Why?
7. What is your strongest physical trait?
8. What is your weakest physical trait?
9. What Type of player are you? Aggressive Baseliner/All Court/Serve and Volleyer/Counter Puncher? Does this style suit your body type?
10. Who do you aspire to play like that is either in college or on the tour (if you could step into their shoes for a day?)
11. Are you willing to work on the things listed above to improve and become like the player listed above?
I will leave you with this final paragraph to read and to reflect upon. Are you willing to understand that learning how to play tennis will take time and lots of it to achieve desired goals? Learning is a lifelong process and we can’t base our successes on the wins and losses but rather the process of learning to enjoy the battle. When we can do this and enjoy the game the wins and losses will come and go but at the end of the day we will always be able to hold our heads up high as we know we did our best and we will take the end result and learn from it.
